Must have personal transportation, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle. The RN functions in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases of care while ensuring compliance with CMS ASC Conditions for Coverage, infection control standards, and patient safety regulations. REQUIREMENTS: • Active RN license (Pennsylvania or Multi-state) • Minimum 1–2 years critical care or cath lab experience preferred • BLS and ACLS required • Moderate sedation training preferred CLINICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation ACLS certification (required) Moderate sedation competency validation Hemodynamic monitoring proficiency Knowledge of: Anticoagulants and antiplatelets Contrast safety protocols Radiation safety principles Ability to respond to emergencies until transfer if needed KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Pre-Procedure Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments including: Cardiac history and physical review Medication reconciliation (anticoagulants, antiplatelets, insulin, etc.) Allergy and contrast risk screening Renal function review (baseline creatinine/GFR) Verify informed consent.
