Job Summary In the ICU of a hospital, patients are often in critical condition and need constant monitoring and care. ICU nurses review data from special equipment to track a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and other vitals. Overview Provides mental health assessment of and treatment to patients with psychiatric symptoms, cognitive deficits, and/or behavioral problems. Provides support and education to VNS Health staff and caregivers to enable them to better care for patients with psychiatric, cognitive and/or behavioral problems.
