The Transport RN practices in accordance with philosophy, policies, procedures and standards of the hospital: functions within the guidelines of the protocols for the transport program that are reviewed and agreed on by the HCA Midwest Maternal Leadership Team. Care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nurse Practice Acts, and AAP Guidelines for Air and Ground Transport. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of school of nursing required. RNC-OB (Inpatient Obstetrics) certification within 18 months of hire and must be maintained while in this role. What you will do in this role: The role of the CVOR Surgical Technician is to assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment and supplies. The CVOR Surgical Technician in Surgery provides care for adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older . The surgical technologist in the first scrub role handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure . The CVOR Surgical Technician understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon . The CVOR Surgical Technician has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field .
