This role involves both clinical and hospitalist support, patient education, and administrative duties. It is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of an integrated Digestive Health practice.Responsibilities • Conduct physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, endoscopies) • Prescribe medications under physician supervision • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Maintain accurate and timely medical records • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives Requirements • WA State Physician Assistant license required • WA DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required • ACLS, ATLS & BLS for Healthcare providers – certification by AHA required • Digestive Health Experience Preferred About Valley Hospital MultiCare Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley, featuring a Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services, and advanced cardiac care. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $159,000.00 - $171,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
