In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention. Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
