Overview Department: Operating Room Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type: Part Time (24 Hours per week) Hours: 8 -hour shift Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX We are seeking an Operating Room RN also known as an OR RN or perioperative nurse, provides comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. Operating Room Nurse work within the operating room setting, collaborating with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety and well-being. OR RNs prepare patients for surgery, which includes reviewing medical history, conducting assessments, educating patients and families about the procedure, and administering pre-operative medications.
