Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. Overview Job Duties An Advanced Practice Provider III (APP III) is a direct patient care provider licensed in the State of Florida and/or Georgia and provides medical services to patients as defined by their scope of practice and under the supervision of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida/Georgia. Participates in care conferences, shift hand-offs, and team meetings to ensure shared understanding of patient needs and progress. Implements and adheres to infection prevention and control practices, including standard precautions and proper handling of equipment and bodily fluids; educates others as needed. Responds promptly and effectively to urgent or emergent changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions and communicating with providers to obtain necessary orders. Applies clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in planning and prioritizing care in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
