About the Job: The Registered Nurse on NICU performs total body cooling, nitric oxide administration, close observation, attention, and intervention for the very unique needs of each patient. NICU nurses have extensive training and experience in the care of sick newborns. They will care for baby 24 hours a day. Nurses are the first person to ask if there are concerns or questions about a baby’s care and they will help educate families in becoming more involved.
