Join our Surgery team as a Registered Nurse! This is a generalist Registered Nurse position who will contribute to all the surgical teams. Our Registered Nurses (RN) are there to prepare for a patient’s arrival and stay in the operating room to ensure their best possible outcome. As an RN, you’ll prepare operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures to assure patient safety all while working closely with physicians, CRNA’s, surgical technologists, and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care. An ideal candidate would be proficient in multiple surgical specialties. Act as liaison with local pharmacies regarding any payment issues and communicate with admissions staff when issues arise. Phlebotomy when ordered by MD and communicate with Quest regarding pickup. Uphold all policies and procedures of Newport Healthcare. Qualifications Current RN license in MN required. Minimum of two years of prior nursing experience preferred. Minimum of one year management/supervisory experience preferred. Compensation for this role ranges from X-X per hour depending on education and experience.
