By joining St. Cloud Hospital Orthopedics as a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll work with an award-winning team of professionals at one of Minnesota’s highest-volume joint replacement hospitals. We are a 29-bed unit that provides care for a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting children and adults such as joint replacements, sports medicine, and fractures resulting from an accident or other trauma. "Orthopedic nursing allows me the ability to help patients reach their goals and return to their prior level of functioning. I am an orthopedic nurse because it truly brings me joy and my co-workers are icing on the cake." - Current Orthopedic Unit RN Current Openings: Part-time | 48 hours per two week pay period | Onsite 8hr night shift | 11:00 pm-7:30am Includes every other weekend (Fri-Sun) Rotating holidays Pay and Benefits: Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour Bachelor's in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour Master's in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour Earn extra pay for working, evening, night and weekend shifts $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates Part-time benefits : Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license in MN required. Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) Position Summary: The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a position that exists to prepare NAITs to successfully pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams. NAITs must be actively enrolled in an approved Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program at the time of hire. Upon completion of the course, the NAIT will take and pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire at which time the NAIT will apply internally for the open CNA position at the facility of their choosing. The student is allowed 3 attempts for the Skills exam and 4 attempts for the Knowledge exam. If either exam attempts are exhausted, a new training program must be completed. As an NAIT, you will be responsible for most duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) as officially deemed competent through in part, completion of at least 16 hours of training in core areas.
