Job Responsibility Manages and has 24/7 responsibility for the team members, operations and patient care activities of a patient care unit. Assists nursing leadership in setting strategic direction for key programs in alignment with organization mission, vision, and values and nursing strategic plan. Ensures adherence to the established care delivery model, using knowledge of scope and standards of practice. Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical competencies for patient population of oversight in order to manage direct patient care.
