Facilitates continual compliance for unit with the JC, CMS, New York State, DOH, Public Health Law, HIPPA regulations and System, hospital and department standards. Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical competencies for patient population of oversight in order to manage direct patient care. Maintains current knowledge of scope and standards of practice, healthcare legislation, and population health. Identifies and leads opportunities to make changes to improve operations across teams using evidence-based strategies and solutions. Performs related duties as required.
