Responsibilities Valle Vista Health System is currently seeking compassionate Nurses to provide care to patients in our newly opened Women’s Program. Our Women’s Restorative Care Unit is a gender-responsive, trauma-informed program designed to address the unique psychiatric and addiction care needs of women. The women’s unit accommodates up to 30 patients, over the age of 18, who are admitted for psychiatric or addiction treatment. All staff who work on the unit receive additional training specific to the healthcare needs of women. Women enrolled in the program will work with an inter-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatry and addiction care providers, general medical providers, licensed dietician, certified recreational therapist, master’s level clinicians, registered nurses, and certified recovery coaches.
