University of Minnesota Physicians seeks an enthusiastic, independent Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Urology team in the Twin Cities. Practice Details: · The candidate will be required to perform history and physicals, comprehensive review of systems, and thorough chart reviews as well as prescribing medications/ therapies, ordering diagnostic tests, performing minor therapeutic procedures, and providing peri-operative evaluations. · Function at a very high level of autonomy. Job Overview Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU - Cardiovascular Department at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. We care for patients who have had coronary artery bypass, valve replacement and transcatheter aortic valve replacement, aortic arch repair and heart and lung transplant. The CVICU also handles patients with decompensated heart failure, adult congenital heart defects, cardiogenic shock, advanced pulmonary hypertension and cardiac arrest. We apply extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), ventricular assist devices (VAD), intraortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Swan-Ganz catheters routinely.
