Nurse Unit Manager Nurse Unit Manager Alliance Health at Maples is a non-profit skilled nursing facility with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse to join our management team as the Nurse Unit Manager. We are looking for someone who is compassionate and can effectively communicate with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other employees. Ability to consistently demonstrate accountability, responsibility, and dependability. Able to communicate daily with nursing personnel providing clear, concise information, exercising independent judgment and critical thinking. Ability and willingness to work well with staff and to function as part of a team. · Works five days per week as designated. As needed, provides administrative supervision for the facility during weekend or for holiday coverage. · Ensures staffing to meet patient/resident needs · Develops assignments and schedules that combine the needs of the patients/residents with the capabilities of the staff. · Ensures response to unanticipated patient/resident needs. · Assists the scheduler in preparing monthly 24-hour nursing schedule for unit. Ability to direct and implement promotion of PI concepts. · Make daily nursing rounds on all patients/residents of unit. Communicates with LPN Nurse Managers and makes daily rounds of their units. Make rounds with Physicians as possible. · Participate in Interdisciplinary meetings, resident/patient family conferences, discharge planning, and other meetings as needed. · Ensures that incident reports from resident/patient, staff and visitors are accurately completed and filed timely with administration. · Edit monthly physician orders/MAR/Treatment records with Staff Nurses. · Assists in maintaining safety and cleanliness of the work area. · Provides input in the formation and evaluation of standards of care. · Provides resident/patient and family teaching as needed. Description Per Diem Dispensing Nurse – LPN Health Care Resource Center i s looking for a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse also shares responsibility of maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory and reporting patient treatment information. An ideal dispensing nurse candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder .
