Job Description Summary: An Infusion Nurse I is a licensed registered nurse who provides basic direct patient care to patients in the home, or in an alternate infusion site, to ensure patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician’s plan of care. Under close supervision, coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with patient instructions and thoroughly reports patient care needs, progress and goals when transferring care.
