Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City has an opportunity for a RN on our Medical Intermediate unit. This position will be accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. CMA, med aide, med aid, Certified Medication Aide Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor. Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery. Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
