Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization. Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines. Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment. Seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Breast Medical Oncology. This department seeks to improve the survival of breast cancer patients, provide new knowledge through research, patient-centered clinical care, cancer prevention, and education and outreach with the ultimate goal of eliminating breast cancer. The ideal candidate will be a licensed APRN or PA with at least 2+ years of clinical experience. They will bring a strong background in Oncology, demonstrating both technical expertise and compassionate patient care. Candidates with an Oncology certification are highly preferred, though not required. Summary This Part-time (.5 FTE) Research Nurse II in the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) / Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH), is responsible for assisting faculty in the Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology Division with the conduction of Diabetes research studies. The incumbent will conduct participant diabetes education and training as required for research studies and administer medication. Lastly will assist with regulatory tasks and preparation of study data reports and related presentations and manuscripts.
