Overview *** LIMITED TIME $25,000 SIGN ON BONUS OPPORTUNITY*** This is a Full Time, Night Shift Poition, Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00pm - 7:00am, NO WEEKENDS - NO CALL The Main Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for every aspect of the patient’s care during surgery. The day begins with preparing the room for the procedure, picking the patient up from pre-op, positioning the patient, maintaining the charting and caring for the patient before, during and after the surgery. The nurse will act as the liaison between the family and the surgeon beginning with the call to let the family know that the first incision has been made. The nurse will continue to contact the family every hour or two to provide updates. During the surgery, the nurse is responsible for updating charting/paperwork, getting supplies if needed and administering meds to the sterile field. This process may be repeated for 1-4 surgeries a day depending on length of each surgery. The nurse works in an extremely team focused environment with their core team, scrub personnel, CRNA, Anesthesiologist and surgeon. Overview *** $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE *** This is a Full Time, Day Shift Poition, w/On-Call requirements (Five 8-hour shifts per week, Plus on-call) The Main Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for every aspect of the patient’s care during surgery. The day begins with preparing the room for the procedure, picking the patient up from pre-op, positioning the patient, maintaining the charting and caring for the patient before, during and after the surgery. The nurse will act as the liaison between the family and the surgeon beginning with the call to let the family know that the first incision has been made. The nurse will continue to contact the family every hour or two to provide updates. During the surgery, the nurse is responsible for updating charting/paperwork, getting supplies if needed and administering meds to the sterile field. This process may be repeated for 1-4 surgeries a day depending on length of each surgery. The nurse works in an extremely team focused environment with their core team, scrub personnel, CRNA, Anesthesiologist and surgeon. The department is fast paced and technologically driven, which includes 3 DaVinci robots. Springfield Memorial Hospital had one of the first DaVinci Xis in the area. Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
