Key Responsibilities: Patient Assistance & Comfort: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating, ensuring comfort and dignity. Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and document patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate. Personal Care & Hygiene: Support patients in maintaining their personal hygiene, including oral care, changing bed linens, and assisting with bathroom needs. Mobility Support: Assist patients with moving, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, walking assistance, and positioning to prevent bedsores. Patient Observation: Monitor patients for changes in physical or mental health, reporting any concerns to the nursing staff or Unit Manager. Patient Safety: Ensure the safety of patients at all times by observing safety protocols and assisting with fall prevention measures. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, building trust and ensuring they feel heard and valued. Collaboration: Work closely with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare team members to provide optimal care and contribute to patient care plans.
