Responsibilities: Assist residents with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding Assist with duties of the resident care plan, including toileting and elimination needs Provide vital signs and report any irregularities to the charge nurse Observe and report to the charge nurse any symptoms, reactions, or changes in residents Assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents who may weigh 50lbs or more Demonstrate working knowledge of proper lifting and transfer techniques and use of total life and stand lift Practice Universal Precaution standards and detect and correct safety hazards in the facility Respond to resident call lights and encourage and participate in rehabilitative measures Requirements: Must have an Active Nurse Aide Certification in the State of Texas High School diploma or equivalent required 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aide preferred Ability to work well with residents, resident families, and all staff Good communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to carry, lift, push, pull, and/or move a minimum of 50lbs or more Ability to assist residents with personal care and perform basic vital signs Flexibility in work schedule and assignments as needed Must be able to properly handle bodily fluids and exercise good judgement Ability to be patient and understanding in stressful situations and seek proper resources Shift Availability: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm 4 days on 2 days off, Double Weekends, and PRN Compensation: $13 - $16 per hour Benefits: All Full-Time employees are eligible for Health Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision) Hourly employees receive a shift differential when working specific shifts If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of others, join our team at BlueBonnet Rehab at Ennis today!
