It is home to a 24-hour emergency department, where patients can see a provider in about 30 minutes or less. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services, including Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic specialties. This role will provide leadership and operational oversight for approximately 50 FTEs across five perioperative departments, including six operating rooms and two procedure rooms POSITION SUMMARY: The nurse director is a professional registered nurse with twenty-four hour responsibility for assigned departments within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of the organization. The nursing director is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit/departments and executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The nurse director provides leadership and mentorship in the development of leaders and staff.
