Initiate care and discharge plan for patients after invasive procedures. Provide pre-procedure and follow-up phone calls for patients after invasive procedures. Effective communication and collaboration with physicians, technologists, and other staff are essential for providing safe and effective care. Coordinate care between the radiology department and other healthcare units. Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures and CTA Coronary exams. Participates actively in the Performance Improvement process to evaluate the quality of nursing care delivered to patients. Participates in in services and staff training programs as required. Maintain cleanliness of rooms, adequate stock of supplies, and ensures regulatory compliance. Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
