1. Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of choice. 2. Provides supervision to G.N.A's and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed. 3. Contribute to the performance evaluation of nursing personnel assigned to the unit with Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager. 4. Work with Nurse Manager to determine your shift's staffing requirements, and making recommendations to the Nurse Manager concerning employee dismissals, transfers, hires, etc. 5. Report problem areas to the Nurse Manager. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action. 6. Rounds the unit multiple times during the shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. 10. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition. 11. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. 12. Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality. 13. Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained when providing care. Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks and using equipment and supplies. 14. Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to appropriate persons. 15.
