Oversees disassembly and disinfection of dialysis equipment. Monitors and ensures dialysis machines are properly maintained. Performs surveillance and testing of dialysis water treatment equipment and dialysis water (such as chlorine, hardness, conductivity, water cultures) to ensure that these machines are operating within the parameters set in the policy and procedure. Complies with required logs, testing and cultures to comply with policy and procedure and regulatory standards. Assures policies, procedures and practices support compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. Communicate with the Chief Nursing Officer if there are issues within the department. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum requirements: Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License. At least one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience BLS required.
