Demonstrates core clinical competencies for patient population of oversight in order to supervise and provide direct patient care. Maintains current knowledge of scope and standards of practice, healthcare legislation, and population health. Interprets policies, procedures and technical methods for team members. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations that improve patient care delivery and team effectiveness using evidence-based strategies and solutions. Performs related duties as required. Assists in conducting focused studies to measure and assess the stability of patient care processes and the achievement of patient outcomes and organizational goals. Assists in coordinating investigations of state reportable incidents, complaints, sentinel events, and citations, ensuring thorough data collection for corrective actions.
