Job Description About This Unit Beds: 26-bed Long Term Care Hospital Patient Population: Specialize in caring for medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization and advanced clinical care. Typical Cases: Care for individuals recovering from critical illness who need ongoing respiratory support, complex wound care, intravenous therapies, cardiac monitoring, dialysis, and comprehensive rehabilitation services before transitioning to a lower level of care. Additional Info: We utilize the LEAF system, a wearable patient monitoring technology that helps staff track and document patient repositioning. Our unit provides dialysis treatments at the bedside using TABLO dialysis machines. This innovative technology allows patients to receive dialysis without leaving their room, improving comfort and continuity of care.
