RN- Cancer Center - Oncology Infusion Nurse The infusion nurse provides direct care and possesses the knowledge and ability to safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive care measures; and is able to manage the patient's care in relation to these treatments. Administers blood products, medications, antineoplastic agents, analgesics, and supportive care to hematology/oncology patients, as well as to patients with non-cancer diagnoses and is able to manage care in relation to these treatments. Demonstrates competency in the performance of simple and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as venipuncture, administration of IV fluids, medications, antineoplastic therapy, care of vascular access devices and declotting of lines. Responsible for coordination of services/treatments for individual patients and their families, including communication and/or coordination with physicians, providers and other healthcare disciplines. Utilizes multidisciplinary approach to implement plan of care for patients and families. Provides collaborative backup coverage for fellow Oncology Nurse Clinicians. Optimizes the use of team resources by establishing patient priorities based on patient needs and keeping team members advised of needs and plan. Utilizes evidence-based clinical knowledge to prioritize and formulate a plan of care based on patient/family needs. In collaboration with physician/provider and other nursing colleagues/disciplines, responsible for direct patient care and symptom management including but not limited to: pain management, symptom management, toxicity assessment and management, etc. Evaluates effectiveness of medication, medication changes or the need for any prescription refills. Serves as an advocate on issues related to the clinical changes and physical status of patients. Optimizes physical and emotional comfort for patients and families by facilitating appropriate resources, interventions, and/or referrals to community services. Communicates with treatment scheduler regarding scheduling requirements for patient treatments, remaining aware of overall operational program needs. Acts as a liaison to ensure all physician orders are complete prior to scheduled treatment. Mentors and serves as a preceptor for less experienced staff as needed. Wound Care Nurse

The Wound Care Nurse serves as a clinical expert for wound prevention, assessment, treatment, and skin integrity management. This role works collaboratively with nursing, rehabilitation, medical staff, nutrition services, infection prevention, and patient families to promote healing, prevent complications, and improve quality outcomes related to pressure injuries, surgical wounds, gastrostomy sites, tracheostomy sites, and other complex pediatric wounds. Duty Percent of Time Performs comprehensive skin and wound assessments for all patients requiring consultation, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, ostomy sites, gastrostomy sites, tracheostomy sites, and other complex wounds. Develops individualized evidence-based treatment plans and recommendations. 20% Leads pressure injury prevention initiatives through patient rounding, risk assessment review, staff coaching, and implementation of best practices to reduce hospital-acquired pressure injuries. 20% Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, respiratory therapists, nutrition services, infection prevention, and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes. 15% Provides consultation, education, competency validation, and bedside coaching to nursing staff regarding wound treatment, dressing selection, documentation requirements, and skin integrity maintenance. 15% Coordinates the organization's wound care program, including serving as Chair or designated coordinator of the Wound Care Committee or interdisciplinary wound care workgroup, as applicable. Facilitates meetings, reviews quality data and wound care practices, coordinates action items, and promotes ongoing standardization and evidence-based practice. 10% Monitors wound care outcomes and quality metrics. Participates in regulatory readiness, accreditation surveys, root cause analyses, quality improvement projects, and policy development. 10% Leads or assists with product evaluation and wound care supply management; supports wound care-related clinical trials and research activities, as applicable; facilitates implementation of evidence-based practices; and develops, reviews, and standardizes wound care treatment protocols throughout the organization. 5% Other duties as assigned. 5% Education: Associate’s degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required. Experience: Minimum two (2) years of RN experience required. Experience in wound care, pediatric nursing, rehabilitation nursing, critical care, or long-term care preferred. License/Certification/Credential: Registration and current RN license in Oklahoma. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Qualifications Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
