Completing patient intake, preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, assisting the clinician, performing lab tests, providing injections, ordering and maintaining supplies, and variety of task which require demonstrating a knowledge of universal precautions, sterile techniques and hazardous waste disposal. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. National Medical Assistant Certification Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years in a healthcare setting.
