Key responsibilities include: Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available Performing circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures Maintaining sterile technique and monitoring the surgical environment for safety and compliance Anticipating the needs of the surgical team to support efficient case flow Communicating effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers and team members Documenting care accurately and in a timely manner Participating in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety and team performance What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Active Washington RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. At least two recent years of RN Operating Room experience required.
