Monitor patient condition and implement timely interventions to prevent complications and promote recovery. Initiate appropriate emergency interventions upon recognizing and assessing life-threatening conditions to deliver timely, life-saving care. Initiate advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) protocols by preparing and administering high-potency medications such as Nipride, dopamine, atropine, nitroglycerin, and dobutamine to manage life-threatening cardiac conditions. Support physicians during complex and potentially life-threatening procedures, including cardioversion and the placement of invasive lines such as arterial, central venous, and pulmonary artery catheters. Evaluate patient responses by monitoring cardiac output, vital signs, peripheral perfusion, and level of consciousness. Coordinate referrals to appropriate allied health professionals such as Chaplains, Community Health Nurses, and Social Workers based on patient and family needs Administer a combination of high-potency and potentially life-threatening medications through invasive lines as part of critical care interventions. Caregiver Job Duties Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to): Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments Monitoring and reporting on their condition Additional Information Our hiring process is fast and simple! Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
