Wound Care RN- LTC Brooklyn, NY *Salary: $100K - $130K annually (Depending on facility)* Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse: Works in conjunction with the DNS in supervising the restorative nursing, and wound care programs. Review new or worsening wounds. Reviews pressure ulcer prevention interventions. Makes recommendations relating pressure relieving devices. Coordinate wound care with interdisciplinary team (dietitian, rehab services, social service, nursing) Develop nursing care plans for resident at risk or currently with skin integrity issues, include treatment protocols Conduct weekly wound rounds with wound care consultant(s) / provider and conduct MD and family notifications and follow-up (care plan updates, etc). Provide resident and staff education. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's health and treating chronic conditions such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause, Fertility, Postpartum, PMDD, and Obesity. Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: Minimum of 3 active unrestricted, and unencumbered state licenses: at least 2 in CA, NY (autonomous), or FL (autonomous), plus 1 or more in additional states based on forecasted hiring needs. A note on state licensing: All active and pending licenses held at the time of application are collected and reviewed during our process. What Allara Offers Annual base salary range: $120,000 – $130,000, and can increase up to $172,500 - $182,500 through our incentive compensation program. Final base salary & incentive range is commensurate with years of relevant experience.
