Responsible for obtaining supporting information and completing required documentation related to medication reconciliation for use by the Attending provider. Interprets and documents patient cardiac rate, rhythm and configuration (PR ST segment) and initiates appropriate treatment plan based on provider orders. Provides ongoing assessment and teaching to the surgical patient/family, utilizing current standards and protocols. Recognizes normal and deviant progress patterns and reports problems or concerns to physician in a timely manner. Utilizes pain management devices and other techniques to ensure proper pain relief. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse. Experience & Education: Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, be in the process of obtaining one, or recently graduated from a state-approved CNA course. CPR certification preferred, but not necessary. New graduates welcome! Duties & Responsibilities: Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident. Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care. Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly. Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them. Document accurately and completely. Meet personal grooming needs for each resident. Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident. Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner. Methods of identification of residents are maintained. Maintain that all residents are appropriately identified (i.e., I.D. bracelets, etc.). Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of the facility and your specific job description. Other duties assigned by manager.
