Job Requirements University of Maryland Capital Region Health is seeking an experienced Part Time Day Shift Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at our Laurel Medical Center on Van Dusen Road in Laurel, Maryland. Contribute to quality and patient safety outcomes through effective handoff communication, medication safety practices, regulatory compliance, and participation in NSQI initiatives. Support performance improvement, workflow optimization, and unit-based initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and the overall surgical experience. Serve as a clinical resource and collaborative team member; support onboarding, mentoring, and development of new staff as needed. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all organizational, regulatory, and perioperative safety standards. Other duties as assigned.
