The central characteristic of perioperative care is teamwork. The surgical team must work together seamlessly to ensure patient safety and the success of the surgery. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Candidates must show proof of license on or before first day of employment. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. Hours: 12 hour nights schedule: 7pm-7:15am Wednesday & Thursday These positions also requires weekday, weekend and holiday call requirements (must report to the hospital within 30 mins). Orientation will be Monday through Friday from 6:50am until 3:20pm with off shift rotation. Must be able to orientate full time for 6 months. Caregiver- Hales Corners, WI- Wed and Thursday- 9AM-5PM SUMMARY: Caregivers assist agency clients with tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan established by the agency Care Manager. This may include the provision of hands-on personal care services as well as tasks generally considered to be companion or homemaker in nature, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, errands, transportation and companionship. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · 1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons. This translates to approximately 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work. Exceptions to this requirement are for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs), or persons who will only be providing companionship and housekeeping services. · CNA or HHA license preferred. · Proof of current TB testing. · Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position. · Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. · Must possess excellent communication skills. Be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable. · Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state). · Provide verifiable professional and personal references. What You Will Do: The NNP manages critically ill neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation and direct care. Independent practice of NNPs occurs in the specialized NICU at our newly implemented couplet care birthing unit at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. The NNP collaborates with neonatologists at our Level 3 NICU at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The NNP is involved with the ongoing education of nursing staff, residents, and students.
