Verifies medications, concentrations, expiration dates of all medications received on the sterile field in concert with the circulating RN. Handles and dispenses medications, irrigation solutions, and flushes (e.g. epi: 1:1000, local anesthetics, antibiotic irrigation) to surgeon within the sterile field. Handles, prepares, and dispenses hemostatic agents (e.g. thrombin, tisseal, floseal) to the surgeon within the sterile field.
