Overview Our adolescent medical psychiatry unit holds 6 beds, providing care to adolescents experiencing mental health crises and providing inpatient care serving acute psychiatric and behavioral disorder needs for adolescents ages 12-17 in our community. Our AMP unit is also a multidisciplinary team and have their own therapists, OT, and educator. This is a PT (2X12hr shifts) position with a schedule that rotates 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Responsibilities Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care duties. Possesses direct access to drug products and secure medication locations in order to manage the storage, handling and disposal of medications consistent with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy. The rotation is 7p-7a across all 7 days and includes holidays.
