Safely administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions, and ensure all providers orders are followed for patient treatment. Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding health, treatments, and self-care. Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing care standards. Adheres to regulatory standards and ACH policies, maintains a safe and clean environment, and reports safety concerns as appropriate. Works collaboratively as a member of the patient care team, engages in ongoing education and professional development, and performs additional duties to support efficient operations and quality patient care. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire. 2 years of healthcare experience as an LPN, preferably in primary care, outpatient care, or care management. EMR knowledge and experience. Possesses a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Displays a passion and strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with a preference for doing so in a healthcare setting. A caregiver in this position works 7:30am to 6:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN and/or physician.
