MJHS companies are qualified employers under the Federal Government’s Paid Student Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) Responsibilities Responsible for delivering nursing care to resident/patients in a long-term care facility under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Nurse Coordinator and/or RN. Responsible for recognizing changes in resident/patient's condition and responding appropriately. Communicates effectively with the nurse manager and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient/resident's needs and/or changes in condition. Appropriately assigns duties to Certified Nurse Assistants based on resident/patient needs, staff availability and unit needs. Qualifications Certificate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program or required education as described by the NYS Education Department. Certificate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing. NYS LPN license required. Good clinical patient care skills and communication skills. Must be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to read and write in English is required. Valid BCLS. Min USD $39.12/Hr. Max
