LPN Urgent Care Education, Skills, and Certifications

Like LPN hospital jobs, LPN clinic jobs, or other LPN roles, urgent care LPN jobs first require you to obtain qualifications to work as a licensed practical nurse. That means, at a minimum, completing an LPN program from a state-approved institution, passing the NCLEX-PN, and getting a license that allows you to work within the LPN scope of practice in your state.

Additional certifications will also serve you well when searching for urgent care LPN jobs. Having Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are always a plus (and sometimes required).
