Essential Job Function: Supports the care team by collecting patient history and medical information in order to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records. Assists in developing and implementing care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to serve patient needs of those being treated in a hospital. Ensures that the proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments. Communicates health care instructions to patients and families in order to deliver information in a clear way for the care plan.
