Overview The Department of Internal Medicine at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. Provides nursing care for patients and assisting physicians. Clinical and administrative duties include: Triage patients [vital signs, height/weight, medical/social history, medication reconciliation] Stock/prepare exam rooms Retrieve imaging and laboratory results Process work task/message ques in the electronic health records [EPIC], and the patient portal [myChart] Ability to work in our clinical and administrative areas with the Department of Medicine.
