Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor plays a key leadership role in managing nursing operations during assigned shifts at Constant Care Agency’s partner nursing facilities in the Bronx. The RN Supervisor ensures that residents receive safe, high-quality care consistent with the standards of practice, regulatory requirements, and the mission of Constant Care Agency. This position requires strong clinical judgment, supervisory ability, and compassion for the elderly and long-term care population. Primary Responsibilities Clinical Supervision Oversee all nursing and direct care staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) on assigned units or shifts. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of nursing care in accordance with physicians’ orders, facility policies, and resident care plans. Monitor residents’ conditions; respond promptly to changes in status and initiate appropriate interventions or physician notifications. Conduct walking rounds at the beginning and end of each shift; verify continuity of care and accurate reporting. Oversee medication administration and treatments to ensure safety and compliance.
