The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures. This dual-certified role ensures the safe and accurate assistance of medications under the direction of a nurse, while also providing direct, hands-on support with activities of daily living to promote dignity, independence, and overall well-being. The CMA/CNA collaborates closely with nursing and caregiving teams to support a person-centered care environment and ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional health. This role functions as both a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Certified Medication Aide in accordance with applicable state regulations. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Nurse, assists with medication and provides treatments according to physician’s orders and in accordance with facility policy.
