Overview About the Role Participates as an essential member of the healthcare team by providing clinical lactation therapy for patients. Provides education and consultative services related to breastfeeding. Serves as a resource for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in order to promote optimal patient care. Designs and provides patient and staff education programs. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Initiates and receives referrals from physicians, nursing staff, and patients.
