This role is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic wounds, performing wound-related procedures, and educating patients and families. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations focused on wound care. Perform wound-related procedures, including debridement, dressing selection/application, and use of advanced wound care therapies. Order and interpret diagnostic studies related to wound care. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with supervising physician. Provide patient and caregiver education regarding wound care and prevention.
