Overview The Department of Pediatrics at Dartmouth Health Children’s is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Neonatologists. We are looking for pediatric providers to join our neonatal hospitalist team at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. The team is open to an FNP with newborn experience or a primary care PNP for this role. The Birth Center of Nashua at St. Joseph Hospital provides labor and delivery services as well as Level I nursery care for around 600 families annually, and is designated as a Baby Friendly hospital. Their spacious unit allows personalized and state-of-the-art obstetric, post-partum, and well-baby care. The role includes hospital-based coverage 24/7 at St. Joseph Hospital. The pediatric APP will be responsible for the primary care of a caseload of well-babies, attend high-risk deliveries, serve as team leader in neonatal resuscitations and stabilization of sick infants awaiting transfer. Successful candidates will have experience with pediatrics, in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, and ideally will have experience attending high-risk deliveries and providing initial stabilization in the immediate postnatal period.
