Responsibilities Assist with patient care under the direction of physicians. Prepare patients for office visits and procedures. Preforms a variety of patient care activities, such as vaccine/medication administration, phlebotomy, and point of care testing. Provides indirect patient care via phone or EHR by addressing patient questions, processing medication refills and scheduling follow-up appointments. Utilize electronic health record for efficient care. Qualifications One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant preferred. Education: Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience; or Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces; or Completion of Basic or Advanced Oregon Emergency Medical Technician program (Oregon only) Licensure MA certification required within one year, from either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or the National Healthcare Association (NHA). MA certification requirement may be met instead by current Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license and national EMT registration (NREMT). Oregon only. Washington State certification as a MA or Interim MA required for all who work or float in Washington. Current BLS for Providers from the American Heart Association. Registered Nurse Tier 1 Obstetrics

Overview The Registered Nurse requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences in the application of the nursing process in the respective departments in which assigned. The RN must collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members and students. Responsibilities Completes patient assessments, formulates plan of care, oversees implementation of plan of care, evaluate and adjust plan of care utilizing critical thinking skills The performance of other nursing acts which are authorized or limited by the board, and which are consistent either with American Nursing’s Association Standards of Practice or with Standards of Practice established by nationally accepted organizations of registered nurses. Care, counsel health teaching and promotion, utilizes Teach Back methodology as affirmation of comprehension The administration of medication, intravenous therapy and treatment as prescribed by a LIP Supervision, delegation and follow-through to other personnel in the performance of activities relating to nursing care. Training for Labor and Delivery shall consist of the following topics related to both normal and abnormal deliveries: *Admission of labor patient. *Care of the labor patient. *Delivery of labor patient. *Recognition and nursing care of abnormal conditions. *Fetal monitors and nursing intervention. *Appropriate nursing intervention. *Management of Obstetrical Emergencies The nurse shall be adequately oriented to unit policies, procedures and equipment. Orientation shall include safety procedures, infection control practices, and performance improvement activities. Qualifications Associate's Degree Nursing Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred 1-3 years Preferred Performs initial assessment to include physical exam of OB patient, recognizes abnormal signs and symptoms, and takes action as indicated. OB Scrub Technician-Family Health Services

Responsibilities The OB Scrub Technician provides direct care to obstetrical/neonatal patient under the direct supervision of a licensed RN. The OB Scrub Technician performs the role of surgical scrub for obstetrically related surgical procedures. Maintains aseptic environment during set-up for surgery or delivery and throughout surgical procedures. Responsible for maintaining and stocking supplies and equipment throughout the Labor and Delivery Suite, including Recovery and Operating Rooms. Assists with perioperative care as outlined in the policy and procedure manuals. Assist with deliveries, as necessary. Assists with other aspects of unit operations as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program. Certified as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or equivalent required. AHA CPR required. One (1) year of related experience preferred. Must maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance. Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with physicians and fellow workers. Must pay attention to detail. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be self-motivated and work in an efficient and effective manner. Must work in air-conditioned environment with temperature of 65-73 degrees and humidity of 45-55%. When assigned to pediatric cases, temperature may be up to 85-90 degrees F. Must wear hospital provided scrub attire while on duty. Potential for cuts, bruises, muscle strains and exposure to contagious disease via and body fluids. Potential for exposure to anesthesia waste gases, ethylene oxide, harsh disinfectants, sterilizing agents, high steam pressure agents and radiation.
