Job Description: Essential Functions: Provides home visits to women and their families for the duration of the NFP program. Delivers individualized, comprehensive care across the six programmatic domains: personal health, environmental health, life course development, maternal role, family & friends, and health & human services. Contributes to a positive work environment that promotes productivity, mentoring, teamwork and cooperation. Actively participates in case conferences, team meetings, one to one supervision, and departmental meetings. Stays informed of current healthcare developments, trends, and professional development to provide safe, quality nurse home visiting services Provides education, support, and referral resources in assisting women and their families in attaining their targeted goal. Education Requirement: BSN, preferred. Licensure Requirement: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Skills: Basic computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) highly desirable. Experience: Two years recent experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or equivalent combination of education/experience, preferred.
