Personalized care together with advanced technology is what it means to be Community Strong Responsibilities The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of optimal patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, and adhering to standards of care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving skills. Performs complete, accurate documentation (PIs, data collection, admission assessments, POC, etc.) in accordance with policies and procedures. Identifies individualized patient/significant other’s learning needs and implements appropriate measures to address identified knowledge deficits. Demonstrates knowledge, respect, and sensitivity concerning patients’ rights. Serves as a patient advocate. Assures confidentiality of patient information. Maintains effective communication with all staff, physicians, patients, families and other departments. Participates in the development of standards and unit performance improvement activities. Qualifications Bachelor in Nursing preferred. Currently licensed and registered to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York. Must possess current BLS Certification and ACLS preferred. Critical Care experience preferred. Demonstrates technical proficiency in the skills involved in Nuclear Cardiology procedures. Must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
